Performance by 6th grades from NOV 2008
Grandmother Spider;two versions of a Cherokee myth
and
Grandmother Spider part 2 more versions of a Cherokee myth
Click on these links above and then at new page, you will click on small grey circle icon that says POD (see below for example but you must click above to get to sound) to hear recordings made by groups of 8 to 9 students who told these stories with out scripts or ever seeing a text. They learned through the oral tradition and retold these in OCT and NOV of 2008. Sadly, some files were corrupted -I do not how or why - but we lost some. Sorry to 6C and some groups in 6A and B. Still we all will get an idea of everyone's work when you listen to the versions here. Thanks to Mr. McMahon who helped manage the COW and the recording. And to the fabulous performers of 6th grade!

Students evaluate Storytelling by Students
Examples of student storytellers from Gavin Middle School in Boaton and improv performances from Whose Line Is it Anyway for 6th grade midterm. The camera work and sound may not always be the best but - the students created their own versions of these timeless tales. And they rocked!
Quirky ______ who was once a ______.
Quirky Babysitter --- here is a version of quirky appliance repairmen
